August 14 – September 13, 2013
here’s our 6 month update, just a few days late.
Chambers’ Aunt Marina Noelle was in a terrible accident late Thursday night, September 12, 2013. the car hit a tree on a windy back-road in Chelsea, Al. her friend Jake, the driver, was killed on impact. her boyfriend Bailey and friend Hunter were in the back. they were injured, though Bailey made it out of the car & called his dad before passing out. Marina Noelle was trapped in the front seat for over an hour as they cut her out of the car. she was rushed to the hospital. her injuries include right femur completely broken through the skin, right tibia badly broken, left femur broken, both arms with multiple breaks and several through the skin, collapsed lung, small brain bleed & a crushed pelvis detached from the base of her spine. she had surgery at midnight Friday & they plan for another surgery Monday or Tuesday to repair the femur & tibia breaks as well as the disconnected spine.
please pray for wisdom for the doctors, nurses & my parents as they start this long journey to a hopeful recovery.
